How can you work with someone who has ADHD?

I work in the hospitality industry and one of the lads that i work with has ADHD. I don't fully understand the problem, I've been trying to train him on the job but there is always this barrier we get to. I'm looking for someone who can tell me the best way to train someone and motivate someone with ADHD. Thank
