action replay is broken someone tell me what to do!

ok this is a video showing how my action replay is broken. i mess up a few times, and i hesitate a few times because i cant read off the game card lol heres the issue- i get through putting in the game name, then the game id, and finally when it says to put in =the action replay red and blue lines go up and down on the screen. what should i do! please comment on how to fix the
