how to properly make your own trading card game?

ok ive made this awesome card game but i make them on index cards i want to know how can i make them out of the stuff real cards are made of.and also tell me if you like my idea ok its based on animals that have there dna fused like a snake and a scorppion ive made all the rules and gameplay i just wanna make the cards better
