Has anyone had success with alternative treatments to ADHD?

I've recently had heart palpitations on adderall XR and my doctor took me off of it and the palpitations have completely stopped. Strattera is very, very expensive so I was wondering if anyone had any success with alternative treatments or behavior modification for ADHD? Any tips are appreciated as I am having a pretty hard time without my adderall. Thank
