Do i need a WoW game card to play the game after i buy it?

i'm planning on buying WoW battle chest that comes with Original WoW and Burning Crusade.

when i get the free 30 days from the original WoW, would i be able to play that account with those 30 days or do i need to buy a game card too. I know it seems self explanatory but i'm kinda new to this game i just need to make
