I have a EU version of the game World of warcraft, but i have a US prepaid game card, will it work?

My friend is giving me his PrePaid game card which he got in America as he used to play it over there.

Hes quit the game now and still has a US game Card which he will give to me. But i just wanna check if it will work on my EU account.
